Wave chart

Trending Data: Capture vibration, flow, pressure, speed and more

Continuously and simultaneously record 24 analog inputs to visualize data, including time and frequency domain analysis. Capture transient events like start-up, shut-down, or valve closures.

Trending data can help identify system-related operational deficiencies without dismantling machinery. Seeing all the data points in the same wave chart can help us spot anomalies and diagnose an issue more efficiently. From here, we can optimize the operation of your equipment.

Operating Deflection Shape (ODS): Measure system vibration while running

Our software has tools for measuring and analyzing time ODS covering SISO, SIMO, MISO, and MIMO. This allows us to see how your system's actual vibration forcing functions and corresponding dynamic behavior during operation.
From here, we can shape the estimation of equipment, foundation, and piping to identify the root cause of an issue. The ability to diagnose the movement of your system allows us to determine quick and focused solutions to reduce vibration.

Motion Amplification Video (MAV): Amplified high-speed video

Utilize software to visually amplify high-speed camera video and see your system in action. This tool is faster to set up and measure than ODS, but it takes longer to get results back. This tool requires line of sight and good lighting and has a lower frequency range than ODS.
This is a great visualization tool for seeing the equipment in action. We can correlate identified operating frequencies with visual motion and pinpoint areas of focus for remediation.

North America Testing Capabilities

èƵ has a state-of-the-art test facility covering the needs and requirements of the pump aftermarket. Located at the èƵ Fairbanks Nijhuis Facility in Kansas City, Kansas, this lab provides testing for customers in North America covering submersible, centrifugal, vertical turbine, split case and propeller pumps.

  1. Test lab complies with Hydraulic Institute® and American National Standards Institute testing standards, including 14.6 and 40.6
  2. Test area contains a 100,000-gallon pit, with a horsepower capacity of 5,000 HP and flow capacities up to 80,000 GPM
  3. Multiple 460 V Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs):
    • Benshaw® 5,000 HP, 4160 V drive
    • Belyea 2,300 V Drive
  4. Full range of state-of the-art calibrated test drivers and complete instrumentation for capturing hydraulic performance, vibration, temperature, power and more
